Brooklyn-based artist Zoe Finkelman bends the laws of space and reality with her paintings, drawings, prints, and digital work. Painting from a combination of life, drawing, photography, and film, Zoe creates environments that are as familiar as they are impossible. Driven by diverse interests, Zoe explores ideas such as myth, divinity, and femininity all whilst immersed in the technical concepts of light, color, and space. Primarily an oil painter, Zoe continues to explore these themes in the mediums of lithography, drawing, ceramics, photography, and experimental film.

Zoe is currently studying at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn where she is in her junior year of a painting BFA. She has previously studied at the Chicago Academy for the Arts and completed programs at the School of the Art Institiute Chicago and the Savannah College of Art and Design.
